Monday Night Flying

Wala & Laima Floating Over Wilton
As I drove up the drive this evening I immediately noticed the park-like look and smell of our fields. My Sweetie had been hard at work mowing about 4 acres of fields today. There is nothing like freshly mown grass. I quickly changed shoes, grabbed the Wala, and rushed out the backdoor. I was soon joined by my hard working man with his new Laima in hand.

We flew until dark. Right at dusk... a small bat even ran right into my 30# line. So much for echo location.

We were both rewarded with a perfectly, beautiful evening of light wind flying.
"It doesn't get much better than this."

  1. The Wala XL (7'10"x5'5"), 0-12mph &
New Laima (6'3"x3'3"), 0-8 mph: from Flying Wings Kites are great light wind flyers. We have 2 of each so we can both fly anytime winds are not cooperating.
